Nothing fancy here. The operating room is a 10'x12' room which has 2 desks on either side of the room with a workbench in the middle to form a U shape. To the left of the operating position is a rack which houses one of the shack computers, audio equipment, and the W5XD keyer I use with Writelog for CW contests.

Although the in-town location was pretty good for noise, it just did not have the room for what I wanted to do. The opportunity came to make the move in 2000 to the county and I couldn't pack everything fast enough.

There is virtually no local (man made) noise at this location.. The only noise I hear is from atmospheric static crashes.
